Meerut: Army Jawan Kapil Brutally Beaten by Toll Plaza workers in Sarurpur.

Meerut: A hooliganism case was seen at Bhuni Toll Plaza in Sarurpur, where Indian Army soldier’s hooligans and toll staffers brutally thrashed a soldier.

The victim, Kapil, of Kotka village, is posted in Kashmir. When his leave period ended, he was returning to resume duty when he was stuck in a long traffic queue at the toll plaza.

When Kapil protested the jam and insisted on driving through as soon as possible, he was allegedly assaulted by toll attendants. There was also a gang of thugs who wore civilian attire and gathered at the area, and together they kicked, punched, and stick-kicked the soldier Taliban-style.

The assault occurred when Kapil was driving from Meerut to get into his unit in Kashmir.

NHAI has fined toll operator M/s Dharam Singh ₹20 lakh and begun the process to cancel its contract and blacklist it from future toll projects.
